He Said "Once a woman turns 35, she has a stamp on her head"

I went on a third date with a guy on Friday. It was a bit much to say the least. He wanted to cook me dinner. Oh please, on the third date? So, I went. It was fine for the first hour or so until we started talking about the “roles” of men and women in relationships. That is when he started this LONG diatribe about how he thinks it is bad for our culture that we are getting married so late in life (statistics in the DC area put the average age of marriage around 30 years old - seems VERY reasonable to me). In addition, women are establishing their careers first - horrors (any tiny bit of interest I may have had for this person came to a screeching HALT at this point). Not only that, but in case you ladies in your thirties did not know...apparently once we turn 35 we are SO old when it comes to having babies that we are marked...with a “stamp on our heads”. And so, since I will be 32 next month and at the rate I’m going, I will probably not even be married by the age of 35...I’ll take my stamp and wear it with pride. And I will take my career over being married to a moron.

35, huh? 1 1/2 years to go for me. I'll wear my stamp with pride too, thank you very much.

Four gals from Kenya - in New York - totally crazy.

He's so pretty, oh so pretty...

Getting ready for the celebration. A Chicago gangsta and "his" New Jersey honey.
